It is with great enthusiasm that I am unveiling the birth of the Dolma Phodrang Foundation. The Foundation is set up to carry out philanthropic activities, to help those less fortunate than ourselves, provide educational opportunities to the younger generation, improve our society through moral and spiritual engagement, to make the world a better place to live in.
We appreciate views, suggestions and contributions in any form towards the achievement of the Foundation’s declared aims and objectives within the parameters of its rules and regulations as well as the Indian legal provisions.
The mission of the Foundation is threefold:
-To provide education to all regardless of caste, creed or colour
-To provide spiritual support and conduct religious events for the betterment of mankind and world peace
-To provide humanitarian aid to the less fortunate and those who are adversely affected by natural calamity
These visions manifest themselves in theobjectives of the Foundation.
I sincerely hope that we can all work together to support this grand vision. To quote what Einstein said: “It is every man’s obligation to put back into the world at least the equivalent of what he takes out of it.”
Let us all do our part to make the world a better place for all and for our future generations.
